Committed to Our Community During COVID-19 Hillside Family of Agencies has responded to the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic by redoubling our efforts to serve vulnerable youth and families in the communities we all call home. Hillside recently received exciting news about our ongoing commitment to bring more CARE to our work with youth and families. Stillwater, Hillside’s residential campus in Greene, NY, has been notified by Cornell University that the campus has earned certification in the Children and Residential Experiences (CARE) model, a leading-edge model for residential treatment. Hillside to Discontinue Services at Varick Campus in 2019 Agency will not renew lease on facility; transition plan in process for youth, staff and residential treatment programs at other Hillside residential campuses Hillside Family of Agencies announced today it will not renew a 15-year lease of its Varick residential treatment campus when that lease expires in March 2020. Binghamton, NY — Hillside Work-Scholarship Connection (HW-SC), an affiliate of Hillside Family of Agencies, has launched its first partnership in the greater Binghamton area through a new agreement with the Binghamton City School District that will take effect this fall. HW-SC provides a wide range of supportive services to students in grades 9-12 who are vulnerable to factors that can prevent high school graduation, and helps them graduate from high school on time with college and career readiness.
