Hernandez brings deep credentials in leading mission-driven service organizations, including a nine-year tenure as Associate Vice President at People, Inc.; and executive experience with the Erie Regional Housing Development Corporation and the YMCA of Greater Buffalo’s Delaware Family Branch.

Hillside’s Western Region includes the counties of Erie, Niagara, Orleans, Genesee, Wyoming and Livingston; the Southern Tier Region is comprised of Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, Allegany, Steuben, Schuyler and Chemung counties. The agency’s community-based and residential treatment programs in those regions serve thousands of children, adults and families every year.
Hernandez is a recipient of Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Buffalo State College, and has earned Six Sigma Black Belt and Lean Professional certifications at University at Buffalo. He lives in Orchard Park, NY.
