Congratulations to Ann Brennan Cott, RN, BSN, Hillside’s director of nursing, who last week was named a winner of Rochester Business Journal’s 2016 Health Care Achievement Award. Ann, who won in the Nurse category, is one of 23 area recipients who were honored this year.
The Health Care Achievement Awards recognize excellence, promote innovation and honor the efforts of individuals and organizations making a significant impact on the quality of health care in Rochester.
As director of nursing Ann, part of the Hillside family for 21 years, supervises the activities of 120 nurses working in Hillside’s residential and community-based programs. She is a member of Hillside’s Services Overview Committee and a leading voice in our integration of electronic medical records and our movement toward a managed-care model of health services.
Ann and her fellow RBJ award recipients will receive their awards at a luncheon in their honor in March at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center.
