Hilton Central School District is pleased to be partnering with Hillside Children’s Center Outpatient Mental Health Clinic to offer mental health counseling services at its Village Elementary School, 100 School Lane. The clinic will serve youth ages 2-21 and their families in the Hilton School District and surrounding areas. Services will include individual and family therapy, crisis intervention, outreach and connections to community resources, psychiatric evaluations and pharmacotherapy.

The clinic is located in a separate area of Village Elementary School with its own entrance to ensure confidentiality.

“The purpose of the clinic is to increase collaboration and communication between the Hillside mental health provider team and the school team, working with young people, increasing family engagement and decreasing the stigma around receiving mental health services,” said Kelly C. Wilmot, director of Hillside’s Outpatient Services.

The clinic will staffed by a licensed social worker, who will be available by appointment Tuesday through Thursday from 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. In order to be eligible for services, clients must have a current mental health diagnosis and have impaired functioning due to that diagnosis.

Hillside Children’s Center Outpatient Mental Health Clinic accepts a variety of medical insurances and offers an insurance specialist who works directly with families. Self-pay and sliding fee arrangements are also available to those who qualify.
