Hillside Family of Agencies appoints new campus school principal
|
Rochester, NY-- March 12, 2007-- Hillside Children's Center (HCC) has appointed Earl Farber to be the next principal at the Andrews-Trahey Residential Campus School located on Hillside's Monroe Avenue Campus. Farber has been serving as interim principal at the school for the past four months providing transitional leadership and support to the school staff. As principal, he will continue the work he has been doing including monitoring the safety of staff and students, implementing appropriate curriculum that meets State Education Department guidelines, monitoring the staffing for the school, and managing the school budget. "Earl has a creative energy and enthusiastic leadership style that will certainly lead to enhanced learning opportunities and school success for our students," says Amy Hollen, Hillside Children's Center education leader. |

Farber joined the Hillside family in 1999 and has worked as a special education teacher at Crestwood Children's Center and also as a support teacher at HCC's Varick campus. Farber, who resides in Rochester, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business & Distributive Education from Canisius College in 1997, and a Masters of Science degree in Special Education from Canisius in 1999. He received a CAS degree in School Administration from the State University of New York College at Brockport in 2004.
