First of its kind mentoring group helps adoptive teens make lasting connections
WHO--
Adoption Resource Network at Hillside Children's Center, mentors who are adults that were adopted, and teens that are freed for adoption who are currently in the process of being adopted, may be reluctant to be adopted, or who have refused to consider adoption at all.WHAT--AdoptMent's kick off meeting. The AdoptMent program, based on the traditional mentoring program structure, pairs adults who were adopted with teens.
WHEN--Today, Thursday, February 15, 2007, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.
WHERE--Ozzie's, located in the rear of Bausch Cottage on Hillside Children's Center's Monroe Avenue campus.
WHY--As the only program of its kind in the Greater Rochester area, AdoptMent provides a safe, fun atmosphere that allows the adult mentors and the teens to discuss their feelings about adoption and build healthy, lasting relationships.

Hillside Family of Agencies is a family and children services organization that provides child welfare, mental health, youth development, juvenile justice, special education, and developmental disabilities services across central and western New York.
