Hillside Family of Agencies Wins 2006 MarCom Creative Awards

Hillside Family of Agencies is the winner of the 2006 MarCom Creative Awards for its outstanding work in the communications field.

Hillside’s 2005 annual report, entitled “Stories to Believe In,” received the competition’s Platinum Award, which is presented to those entries judged to be among the most outstanding in the competition. Platinum winners are recognized for excellence in terms of quality, creativity, and resourcefulness. Of the over 5,000 entries received this year, only 15 percent received this level of recognition.

Hillside’s Vision Newsletter, a quarterly publication that highlights activities, volunteer opportunities, and fundraising programs within the nonprofit organization, was also recognized with a Gold Award. This award is presented to those entries judged to exceed the high standards of the industry norm. Sixteen percent of entries in the competition received this level of recognition.

Administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals, the MarCom Creative Awards is an international awards competition that recognizes outstanding achievement by marketing and communication professionals worldwide.

Hillside Family of Agencies, a nonprofit organization comprised of affiliates Crestwood Children’s Center, Hillside Children’s Center, Crestwood Children’s Foundation, Hillside Children’s Foundation, Hillside Work-Scholarship Connection, and Snell Farm Children’s Center, provides child welfare, mental health, youth development, juvenile justice, special education, and developmental disabilities services to children and families across Central and Western New York.
