Hillside Family of Agencies’ Bauch earns Ph.D.
Hillside Family of Agencies Senior Research Analyst Patricia Bauch has completed her doctoral degree requirements and has obtained a doctoral degree in health services research and policy from the Department of Community and Preventive Medicine at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry.
Bauch’s dissertation was titled “HFA Cohort Study: Discharge Outcomes and Service Pathways” and involved the use of both qualitative and quantitative research methods to examine Hillside Family of Agencies’ system of care implementation, care coordination, and the impact of clinician turnover and characteristics on youth discharge outcomes.
“It feels great to have earned my Ph.D.! It’s been a long road, but the rewards are definitely worth the time and effort,” says Bauch. “I am involved in very interesting work with a forward-thinking agency that provides excellent services to children and families through the tremendous efforts of dedicated staff members.”
“She did an outstanding job highlighting our system of care and the outcomes of the youth we serve,” says Maria Cristalli, Hillside Family of Agencies Chief Strategy and Quality Officer.
Bauch, who is also an adjunct assistant professor at Monroe Community College in Rochester, New York, holds a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Rochester, a bachelor of science degree in community health education from Ithaca College, and an A.A.S. degree in dental hygiene from Monroe Community College.
