Hillside Family of Agencies names new integration leader
David Autovino has been appointed Hillside Family of Agencies’ (HFA) new integration leader.
As Integration Leader, Autovino has responsibility for the administration of the integration center, HFA’s information and service management hub. The integration center offers daily, around-the-clock services including information intake, crisis counseling, bed and specialist assignment, utilization management, and community relations services. He will also join HFA’s System of Care Leadership Team.
Since coming to Hillside 27 years ago, Autovino has held a variety of direct care and leadership roles, including residential utilization manager, residential treatment facility point person, and juvenile justice system service point person. In 1996, he joined the integration team and became Associate Leader in 2003.
“Dave’s ability to navigate systems to secure the best treatment options for youth is a strength. He is exceptional in building relationships and gaining investment among professionals to provide ‘out of the box’ resources for individual youth,” says Karen Zandi, Hillside Children’s Center executive director.
Autovino received a bachelor's degree in psychology from the State University of New York at Oswego in 1978 and earned a master's degree in social work from the Syracuse University in 1990.
Hillside Children’s Center is an affiliate of Hillside Family of Agencies, a family and children services organization that provides child welfare, mental health, youth development, juvenile justice, special education, and developmental disabilities services across central and western New York.
