Bender selected as Hillside Children’s Center’s new information integration manager
Hillside Children’s Center (HCC) has appointed Lorynda Bender to the position of information integration manager.
In this position, Bender will be responsible for the effective translation of client and service delivery information into authoritative requirements for use by all Hillside Family of Agencies. Bender will also supervise the Clinical Information and Information Integration subteams.
Since coming to HCC in 1992, Bender has held a variety of direct care and information management roles at Hillside, including socio-therapist and clinical information specialist with the responsibility of maintaining the records for one of HCC’s residential treatment facilities. In 2004, Bender became Clinical Information Team Leader responsible for the direct oversight of clinical records for both Hillside Children’s Center and Crestwood Children’s Center, as well as guiding, developing, and implementing policies and procedures regarding confidential client information across all Hillside Family of Agencies.
Bender earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in behavioral science from Cedarville University in 1993.
Hillside Children’s Center is an affiliate of Hillside Family of Agencies, a family and children services organization that provides child welfare, mental health, youth development, juvenile justice, special education, and developmental disabilities services across central and western New York. Hillside Family of Agencies is also comprised of affiliates Crestwood Children’s Center, Crestwood Children’s Foundation, Hillside Children’s Foundation, Hillside Work-Scholarship Connection, and Snell Farm Children’s Center.
