Hillside Family of Agencies wins 2006 Communicator Awards
Hillside Family of Agencies is the winner of the 2006 Communicator Awards Print Competition’s highest distinction for its outstanding work in the communications field.
Hillside’s Vision Newsletter, a quarterly publication that highlights activities, volunteer opportunities, and fundraising programs within the nonprofit organization, garnered the prestigious Award of Excellence. The award demonstrates Hillside’s ability to communicate at an elevated level, and situates the organization’s Marketing Department among the best in its field. Of the 5,214 Communicator Award entries throughout the United States and the rest of the world this year, approximately 14 percent achieved this high level of recognition.
In addition, Hillside also received the Award of Distinction for its Hillside Family Forum radio program. This award is given to productions that exceeded industry standards in design or communication skills. Produced by Hillside Family of Agencies, the show features Hillside experts on children and family issues, along with parents, children, and guests from the business, government, education, and sports communities. Hillside Family Forum airs monthly on 11 radio stations throughout Central and Western New York.

Hillside Family of Agencies, a nonprofit organization comprised of affiliates Crestwood Children’s Center, Hillside Children’s Center, Crestwood Children’s Foundation, Hillside Children’s Foundation, Hillside Work-Scholarship Connection, and Snell Farm Children’s Center, provides child welfare, mental health, youth development, juvenile justice, special education, and developmental disabilities services to children and families across Central and Western New York.
