New Hillside Emergency Shelter breaks ground
| WHO: | Mayor William Johnson, Senator James Alesi, Assemblyman Joseph Morelle, and Hillside donors and staff |
| WHAT: | Ground will be broken to commence construction on a new emergency shelter and health clinic. |
| WHEN: | Thursday, June 7, 2001, at 2:00 p.m. |
| WHERE: | Hillside Children's Center,1183 Monroe Avenue, Rochester |
| WHY: | Hillside's Emergency Shelter provides temporary care and diagnostic services for youth in times of crisis. The new Shelter will provide six more beds, allowing Hillside to serve more children who seek help. Critical space for family, group, and individual counseling will also be added. |
