Rochester, NY- American Idol season six finalist and advocate for youth Melinda Doolittle spoke to more than 50 Hillside Work-Scholarship Connection students about her journey to success and how she overcame obstacles to achieve her dreams on April 10, 2010 at the Pittsford, NY, Wegmans. Much like the goal of Hillside Work-Scholarship Connection, Doolittle helps inspire students to achieve their full potential to become contributing and accountable young people at home, in school, and at work.
