Spike's Hike is a charitable event benefiting Special Olympics New York Genesee Region and other community organizations - including Hillside!  Interested in being on the Hillside Team? The first $150 our Hillside team raises will benefit Special Olympics - all funds raised after that will be split 50/50 between Hillside and Special Olympics. The more people on the team, the more money we can raise for Hillside!  For those of you who remember the Hike for Hillside, you know how good it feels to hike with your colleagues while benefiting Hillside at the same time.  Come join us!

 How to sign up?

  • Simply visit http://www.firstgiving.com/spikeshike 

  • Select “Get Started”

  • Select “Spike’s Hike 2008”

  • “Register me on-line now”

  • Select the number of hiker’s you are signing up; agree to the waiver and continue

  • Enter your email address and continue

  • Fill in the required personal information and continue

  • When prompted if you are registering as an individual or team- select team

  • Then select “Hillside”

From there everyone will have to create their own web page that they can email to all friends, family, and associates in their address book to solicit pledges.  All potential sponsors will have the opportunity to donate on-line through a secure credit card payment.  If you have people who are interested in sponsoring you, however would prefer to pay cash or write a check, all cash and checks can be brought to the event.  Checks should be made payable to "Special Olympics New York Genesee Region."

  • Simply visit http://www.firstgiving.com/spikeshike

  • Select “view all teams” in the right hand column

  • Click on “Spike’s Hike 2008”

  • Select “Hillside”

  • Then choose the Hillside team member you would like to support
