Hillside Children’s Fund provides crucial support for the needs of children in areas that cannot be met by other funding sources. A gift made to this unrestricted fund benefits all of Hillside’s services including our short term residence for children in crisis, adoption, day treatment, foster care, mental health, and youth development services. In the past this fund has been able to meet basic needs of children and families in crisis such as food, basic household necessities, winter clothing, daycare registration, eyeglasses, medically necessary dental care, transportation to attend a counseling session, and parenting classes. Support like this helps families to alleviate stress and gives them the strength to focus on building a healthy future for their children.
