Crestwood Children’s Center’s Spring Fund helps to provide support for recreational activities and programs for children who struggle with serious behavioral, emotional, and mental challenges. Recreational activities are an essential and therapeutic part of treatment for children in Crestwood’s day, outpatient, or residential treatment programs. Recreation can teach children positive values, social interaction, how to express feelings, cooperation, and decision making. A variety of activities and programs are offered daily that help each child work through emotional difficulties, build on individual strengths and help them to grow and learn. It is through opportunities of play that a child can learn valuable skills and tools that they can use to be successful in life. Your gift to the Spring Fund will help provide important support for recreation programs and activities at Crestwood Children’s Center this summer and throughout the year.
